Elite Epsilon Background

The Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority was founded on October 7, 1997 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas by five, very diverse women who wanted to promote friendship, diversity, and cultural awareness. They decided that sisterhood was the best way to provide women of all backgrounds with a place to feel safe and secure and to build everlasting friendships.

In the Fall of 2005, at Sam Houston State University, 10 women came together little by little to form a great bond! These 10 women became known as S.T.A.R.S, Standing Together Against Social Segregation. With time and a lot of commitment, S.T.A.R.S created a bond so strong that no one could compare. On March 25, 2006, S.T.A.R.S officially became founding sisters of Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc.-Epsilon Colony at Sam Houston State University. On April 19, 2008, Epsilon became an official chapter of Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. We were, and continue to be the FIRST and ONLY multicultural sorority at Sam Houston State University.
